About Jayme

About

My Story.
My Mission.

My name is Jayme Linker, and for over 17 years, I’ve pushed the boundaries of human endurance—physically, mentally, and emotionally—as a survival and adventure athlete. But my real training began much earlier. I’ve battled an eating disorder since I was 12 years old—over 25 years now—and was born with severe, life-limiting asthma. These challenges have shaped every part of who I am and continue to fuel the purpose behind everything I do.

Endurance sports didn’t just become a passion—they became a path to healing. I was hospitalized three times for my eating disorder, the last time with very little chance of survival. It was in those moments—when everything felt like it was slipping away—that I made a choice to fight for my life and to rebuild it on my terms. I turned to movement not just to survive, but to evolve.

I compete in extreme endurance and survival events because I believe in leading by example. I willingly place myself in the most demanding situations to understand exactly where the mind begins to break—and how to push through that threshold. That lived experience allows me to show up for others with empathy, clarity, and grit. I don’t just talk about struggle—I’ve lived it in my body and mind, and I know what it takes to come out the other side.

Recovery hasn’t been easy. Every day requires conscious effort to stay aligned with my health and to train in ways that support—not sabotage—my mental well-being. But I’ve remained in recovery for 17 years, not because I’ve avoided difficulty, but because I’ve learned how to move through it with intention and resilience.

This mindset has helped me set world records, maintain balance while performing at an elite level, and—most importantly—support people around the world who are on their own paths of healing, growth, and rediscovery. Everything I do is grounded in service: to understand myself deeply, and to use that knowledge to help others navigate their hardest moments.

You don’t have to be an athlete to fight for your life. You just have to start. If you’re ready to take that next step—or if you need someone who truly understands what it’s like to struggle and to rise—I’m here.

Let’s take that step together.
